Formerly the lock keepers cottage (c1830) the property is located in spectacular natural surroundings on the banks of the river and bordering Cognac vineyards and fields of maize.
Within walking distance of a riverside bar and restaurants and a pretty hill top village it is ideally located for boating, fishing, swimming, cycling and riverside walks. It is 5km from a market town (accessible via road, cycle path or river) and set in the countryside between the historic town of Cognac (30km) and the city of Angoulême (20km).
